Eau Claire Bit & Spur Saddle Club

Offering Halter, Showmanship, Western & English disciplines

Welcome to The Eau Claire Bit & Spur Saddle Club website. The Bit & Spur Saddle club has been in existence since the early 1900's. All of Bit & Spurs shows are WSCA and Wisconsin Horse Council Championship show qualifying. Shows are held May - September. Our facility offers a rustic log cabin which serves as our main station where we have our entry stand, food stand and a place to relax. We also offer an 82 stall barn, exercise arena and camper hook ups.

New for 2010

  • You can now pre-register for the shows and stalls.  If you pre-register, entries and stall reservations should be received 8 days prior to the show.  Pre-registrations that are mailed in will have their office fee waived.  Your exhibitor number will be available the day of the show at the Entry Stand.  If you have a number you would like to use, please let us know, we can’t guarantee the number will be available, but if it is, we will reserve it for you.
  • The Entry Stand will be open Friday night before the Saturday show from 6 to 8 p.m. for early registrations, stall reservations and camper registrations.
  • Trainers and their students are encouraged to take advantage of the pre-registration option or early registration on the Friday before the show.
  • Due to our new show software, we will be closing shows at the end of each day.  Open checks won’t be carried over for the entire weekend.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • The Bit and Spur Club reserves the right to combine any classes but judge them separately
  • Rookie Showmanship is open to exhibitors that have not won 3 blue ribbons in this class.
